Services

The hands-on work that makes travel AI hold up in a real operation

Software is half the job. The other half is cleaning supplier data, writing the playbook for a monsoon afternoon, getting an AI agent through checkout safely and watching it all after launch. That's what our services are for.

How services and the platform fit together

The Nova platform is a set of modules (Itinerary Studio, Route Engine, Booking Flow, Signals, Concierge and Agent Gateway) that share one data layer. Services are how those modules meet your operation: your suppliers, your systems, your policies and your team’s judgment.

Some services exist mostly to configure and extend modules. Agentic Commerce Readiness puts Agent Gateway to work on your inventory. Disruption Response Automation turns Route Engine, Booking Flow and Concierge into playbooks. Others stand on their own: a Discovery Sprint produces a vendor-neutral roadmap, and our governance work applies just as well to AI you bought elsewhere.

You don’t need the platform to hire us, and you don’t need services to use the platform. Most clients end up with both, because the hard part of travel AI is rarely the model. It’s operational truth: knowing what is actually possible on a given day, for a given traveler. Getting there takes data work, process work and people who have run trips.

How it works

How engagements start

Every engagement is scoped and quoted after a conversation, never from a price list. The usual path looks like this.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

    45 minutes

You tell us what's working, what isn't and what's on the AI list. We ask about systems, volumes and your last bad week. No slides.

  2. 02

    Scoping note

    Within a week

A short written recommendation: which service, what scope, who's involved, how we'd measure success, and a quote.

  3. 03

    Sprint or pilot

    3–12 weeks

Most clients begin with a Discovery Sprint, or go straight to an 8–12 week pilot on one well-understood problem.

  4. 04

    The longer-term shape

    Ongoing

If the pilot earns it: a platform subscription, a milestone-based build partnership, managed AI operations, or a clean hand-over to your team. See engagement models.

Small teams, mixed disciplines

Each engagement gets a small team drawn from routing science, data engineering, travel operations, conversational design, applied ML and security, the disciplines described on our team page. Someone on every team has run trips, not just shipped software.

  • One accountable lead from kickoff to hand-over
  • Field time with your staff, remotely or on site, when watching the work in person will teach us something a call can't
  • Weekly working sessions and written notes instead of status theater
  • AI that drafts while people decide, wherever the decision matters

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do we need the Nova platform to work with you?

No. Strategy, visibility, data and governance work stands on its own, and we'll recommend other tools when they fit better. Some services, agentic commerce and disruption response especially, move faster on our modules, and we'll say so plainly.

Can you work with the software we already use?

Yes. We integrate by category, including property management systems, channel managers, reservation systems, GDS and bedbank feeds, payment providers, CRMs and messaging channels, over standard REST APIs, webhooks, CSV/SFTP or MCP. See integrations.

How do you price services?

Every engagement is scoped and quoted after a discovery call. The engagement models page describes the shapes (sprint, pilot, subscription, build partnership and managed operations) without prices, because scope drives cost more than anything else.

Who do you usually work with?

Independent and mid-sized travel businesses: tour operators and DMCs, hotels and lodges, destination organizations, activity providers, advisors and corporate events teams. Our selected work shows four anonymized examples.

Where are you based?

Santa Fe, New Mexico, at 3209 Mercantile Court. Most work happens remotely, with time on site when it's worth it.

Not sure which service fits?

Most first calls end with a clearer problem, even when the answer isn't us. Book a discovery call, or write to welcome@novadventure.com.
